Founder and President, Leo A. Berchtold has spent more than 40 years in the construction industry. He began his career as a tradesman, mastering carpentry, trim, electrical, roofing, and drywall before moving into field management for a commercial contracting firm. In time, he established his own company, building custom homes and managing large-scale commercial projects.
In 1980, Lee relocated to Southwest Florida to serve the region’s growing building industry—constructing hospitals, retail centers, medical offices, steel buildings, restaurants, and specialty projects for utilities and institutions. His breadth of experience and dedication to quality have earned Berchtold Builders a reputation for consistency, craftsmanship, and care.
